It was a crisp, crunchy morning and the meadow was quickly melting as the sun eagerly climbed into the sky. But before it could capture the frozen dew, I captured this tiny mushroom, proudly standing in the grass.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for featuring me in your group! It makes laying on the cold, frozen ground for two hours shooting all the crystalized dew on all the tiny plants in a vacant lot. It was only about 2-3 inches tall, so I could have missed it if I hadn’t been crawling around – I call it “a bug’s eye view”!
well worth the effort! :o)I often come home with muddy knees, sticks in my hair and dirt under my finger nails. If not…I don’t consider it a ‘successful’ hike.
