I am a third generation photographer, loving everything I see around me. I was born in Connecticut and lived there until we moved to Florida in 1987 after my husband was injured. For 50 years, I’ve been Mike’s Ladybug, and seven decades into this life, I thank God for every day!
My first camera was a little Brownie, then in the 80’s I had a full Nikon outfit (film). In 1999 I bought my first digital before a five-month road trip to Alaska. Sadly, the quality was poor and images very small. Slowly I’ve stepped up and am currently using a Sony A100, with various lenses. I also have a Sony H5 and a small Canon for my pocket!
The first image I uploaded to redbubble was this one …
A sunrise in Hollywood, Florida … “Morning Delight”
Here is a favorite of mine, titled, “God Cradled the Sun”
This is our beloved Malti-Poo, Belle…
Our youngest granddaughter has given me lots of portrait practice; this is one of my favorites of her.
This photo was taken in Nova Scotia and each time I see it, I’m reminded of my Canadian heritage. The striking birches just add beauty.
Welcome to my photoblog, with photos I’ve taken mainly in Florida, but also some when traveling. I hope you find something you like. ENJOY!

Dear Friends, Monica is a wonderful photographer with a warm and loving heart. I’m not sure how to add an active link but will try this: http://www.redbubble.com/people/dcrrld
Someone made a purchase and it’s certainly thrilling to have someone want a copy of your work. Thank you, whomever you are!
Work has kept me very busy so my ‘playtime’ is rather restricted. I never expected to be working at my age, but I do enjoy what I do as secretary at our Methodist church. I just get tired!…
