This is one of the most gorgeous paintings I’ve ever seen. I sucked in air deep and long upon coming upon it. The few lines you drew of this peaceful, resting face, connoting the lips and closed eye are masterful, in that they express almost everything. It is then the color and the imagination of the viewer that fill in the rest.
