I can work with many different forms of media but have a particular fondness for watercolor. I feel that I get certain energy from watercolor that isn’t apparent in other medias. I think one should know a painting is done from paint and is flat. I don’t want my art to look like a realistic photograph.
I tend to work mostly figurative, and relatively nude. People are obsessed with themselves and I don’t believe I need to steer clear from that. I like to deal with issues that are close and personal to me and those around me. I have many pieces focused on women’s rights in today’s culture. I am very liberal and I feel it’s apparent in my artwork.
