Hoyland Lowe Stand

Hoyland Lowe Stand by Dave Warren

Hoyland Lowe Stand

This is Hoyland Lowe Stand, Built around 1750 for the Marquis of Rockingham – for the probable use of a hunting lodge. It now stands Derelict on a public foot path, unfortunately the young hooligans dont have the respect they should for such an old historic building. I hope this picture does it justace and preserve it digitally forever.

Hoyland Lowe Stand belongs to the following groups:

Dilapidated Buildings, HDR Photography, Rusty, Crusty and Falling to Bits, United Kingdom and Yorkshire Grit

Great treatment, the brickwork looks wonderful. Did you know the council gave it to the people of Hoyland quite recently and they are raising money to restore it?.

I think it looks as good as it possibley can look here Dave… great work, and great processing. Did you also know the council have given the deeds to this place to a local bunch of enthusiasts who are now trying to raise some restoration funds, to tidy up, and perhaps restore that viewing platform. Lets hope they get the funds and the work done… See also here Barnsley Chronicle
