Terrific shot, love the light and the composition.
It’s funny, here in Adelaide, where the winters are sure cold but not like yours, we load our horses up with multiple rugs, fleecy neck rugs, quilts, waterproofs, GoreTex, you name it – and then we see pics of horses in the northern hemisphere winter just toughing it out with their own hair! Weird!

dave….I am not to struck on the whole HDR thing, even though I have started to dable a little in it myself. However, this image is just perfect. It has the dynamics of light, shade, colour, tone…......all coming together in a collaboration of compositional splendour. A trluy masterful image…welldone

Wonderful shot Dave…worth stopping and turning round for! I love the way the pony has turned and is looking at you sideways! The colours, tones and textures are truly wonderful. The lone tree in the backround shrouded in the mist just tops this image off. Wonderful stuff lad…..the recognition is very well deserved!

Very well done – love how perfectly exposed the image is from the detail in the shadows to the subtlety of hte detail in the lit fog in the background. Spectacular!
