The Winnats
Well here is my first Infrared image, well sort of, i got a Hoya R72 filter for Christmas and since having it it has not stopped raining, well at least on the days when i have been able to go out shooting, so i took this of the Winnats pass in the peak district but the sky was just grey cloud so i played in photoshop and added a better sky but in colour. Let me know what you think? i am waiting for a good clear day to try it out properly.

Brilliant effect Dave! I am so glad you have put some sky back into the scene. I think infrared can kill a beautiful image if it is too overdone! That’s just how I feel :-)

Intriguing effect, looks like selective desaturation

I’ve driven up and down here a good few times. Most of my pics of this stretch of road (just outside Castleton) are on slides. Nice treatment, I like the separation.
