Kazakh Horse Acrobatics on Astana Day by

A show of traditional Kazakh horse riding tricks for the anniversary celebration of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Traditionally these skills were learned by young men as preparation for hunting and war, and are actually called dzhigitovka, where dzhigit means “young man” in Kazakh, but women also pick it up in modern days as a form of acrobatics.
