Taken at the zoo at Lake Burabay in Kazakhstan. This bear seemed to be pleading with us to be let out. As people walked by, he just sat there on his haunches, paws against the bars, watching pitifully.

Looking at the photo, I was struck by how human looking his eyes are. And how dirty and gritty those bars are. Makes you understand why he might want to get out.
