Their Road

Her eyes were getting heavy
and her veins felt like dried blood
No matter what way she turned
there was always that bump in the road

a road full of lies and broken promise
a bump that felt like a thorn
Ripping her insides and her soul
A soul that once had been shining

Some how there was a wrong turn
the turn that ruined every dream
that turned turned into a continious nightmare
day by day,night by night
hour by hour, minute by minute

Some say you are in charge of your life
she said no there are people that like to watch others fall
That is there purpose in life, that is their road
Remember everyone has a purpose
