The Greatest Gift......
Being a burmese lover and having two of my own, I couldn’t help but feel the need to give, in my mind; the greatest gift to my (now friend, ex lover) Paul, who still deeply missed his burmese who had passed away about a year ago.
He may not be able to love me or any other woman who’s not ‘broken’ til he deals with his demons, but til then he’ll have at least one great female in his life who will always be there for him, and that he can (hopefully) love unconditionally…the beautiful ‘Obi’
It occurred to me after the purchase (when I was struggling til next pay after having way blown my own student budget) that I have never spent so much on a gift before for anyone, including partners I’d been with a lot longer than Paul, who by the time of picking up Obi, had actually broken up with me anyway…but at the time I didn’t think twice about the purchase as, for a start it was organised while we were still together, but more so because she was a BURMESE and SO WORTH every dollar!!!
To anyone who is considering getting a cat, I strongly recommend a BURMESE!! (actually they come even better as pairs! haha) They are ‘the dogs of the cat world’....full of intelligence, affection and personality!!!
& They are easily the most reliable males in my life ;-) haha
