Introducing leggings. You’ll never run out of inspiration.

A few colourful Bush horses that I had the plesure to meet recently.
Although they are now in captivity and getting quite tame (a few of them come up to the fence for a curious look and accept a pat or two) they still run in their original herd and are very well cared for in their new life.

Taken with a 12mp DSLR Pentax k-x

Adventures of a creative, curious country chick, with a few horses, lazy dog and insane cat in tow! Living the dream in rural Australia, my photos focus on the outback, horses, and the rural way of life… oh and a few pretty flowers along the way!

    Hi Penny
They sure don’t look like Brumbies, I like the one with the white blaze down it’s face, {He/She} looks very proud just stands as the “Boss” horse. Inst. Fav.
    Cheers

Best looking brumbies I have seen, like you said looks like they have been groomed! Who is the lucky owner and where did he get them from? I want one! Any Pally’s?

  • Scarily enough I’ve seen some that are equally as nice although different in type in south ausralia’s far north (they had a lot of arab in them) they belong to a friend of Dad’s, I can’t remember the name of the darn place they came from but it’s out whoop whoop somewhere! no pallys oddly enough, lots of bukkys bays and blacks in the mob but no pallys and strangely enough, no chestnuts either! there might have been some elsewhere I don’t know. I took a real shine to one of the big young bays and have been trying to con him out of the owner, buut I don’t fancy my chances lol
