I couldn’t help having fun with the title of this one – it was taken looking up the steps and out one of the access doors to the unicorn brewery tunnels, Burra, south australia.
The Brewery was built in 1873 it was forced to close in 190 due to new licensing laws.
It’s a great place to visit on a hot day – it is beautifully cool and breezy.
Burra’s main claim is to mining although it’s now mostly a tourist and farming town, it has a long and complex history, originally as several smaller tows, it’s located near to where I live (it’s nearest shopping for me)
I rarely stop to appreciate the beauty of the town’s unique features, but occasionally I make the time :)
