A dusty little backtrack that leads (in a rough roundabout way) to the small township of “Booborowie” sections of this road washed away in the recent heavy rains, rendering it 4wd and horseback access only for the time being.
Booborowie is a tiny town with a population of about 130 (give or take, including myself and family) it has a pub, a general store, a seed merchant and a school and that’s about it! it is prime merino and cropping country, situated in south australia’s mid north regin.

A pub, a school and a general store is all that’s needed right? :) Ahh country towns, the lifeline of Australia.

  • yep, it’s pretty much perfect! town infistructure include an oval with cricket pitch, a pool, tennic courts, bowls club and greens, Hall and churches =)

and yep, it’s definately a lifeline, the general store has everything from baby food to pipe fittings, paint and a postal service unfortunately there is a rumor that the pub may be closing down though, which is a shame as the next nearest is quite a reasonable drive away.
