The Poolamacca Shed by

Use, surveys his palace, in his kingdom that is Poolamacca..

The Poolamacca shearing shed (south australia) was errected over 100 years ago, and has seen many hands, paws, and hooves pass through and work it, originally built on the “Pinch” (about a kilometer from where it stands now) it was relocated some time before the arrival of my great grandparents – nobody actually knows just how old it really is.

I used to play for hours and hours in this shed as a little kid, I love it, and cherish the time I have spent in it both playing and working, I’ve met some fantastic people in here also.

Use (so named beacuse nobody could work out if he was useful or useless as a pup) is is an australian kelpie and a valued worker, he was once the charge of a dear family friend, who had to rehome him, we kept him with us for a brief time, before passing him onto my uncle, who was short a dog, Use is now his best dog (and dare I say, the best one he’s ever had =) )

Taken with my 12mp DSLR Pentax k-x

Another image of Use back in his shed again can be viewed by following the link below

Just a lovely, breathtaking shot! The pin-hole lights shining through, Use sitting in a sunny spot made by the loss of a slat in the siding (and SMILING!).

What anamazing piece here Penny!! Outstanding! You really nailed the mood of an outback shearing shed…I can just smell the oily fleece’s fragrance…

It looks awsome in that timber frame too, it really brings out the red in the timbers, and Use.

    Great work Sis:-))
