Apolagies for the macarbe title, but I figure it kinda fits, it’s part of a poem that we used to sing at school when I was a little tacker (and it’s the only part I remember lol)

Taken with my 12mp DLSR pentax k-x, hand held and with a very inapropriate 200 lens (I don’t have a macro lens lol) so it’s not “perfect” but hey, I’m proud anyways lol..

Adventures of a creative, curious country chick, with a few horses, lazy dog and insane cat in tow! Living the dream in rural Australia, my photos focus on the outback, horses, and the rural way of life… oh and a few pretty flowers along the way!

This is really cool. Love the title lol. Poor fly, actually no not poor fly they are really annoying. :) Great work! I don’t have a macro either and I have to use my 250! :)

  • Cheers, thanks!! haha, glad someone likes it at least lol! and yeap, I don’t feel a bit sorry for the fly – they are getting really bad here this year! lol, yeap, not having a macro lens is a nuicence hey! I’ve never used one, but it’s gotta beat trying to get a million miles away from the subject to get it in focus hey lol!!

Nice! I do not have a macro either but use my 55mm lens to do my close up work. Excellent work. What kind of spider is that?

    Ah-haa, I have found the 3rd spider photograph! _
Despite me not being the biggest spider fan, I do find them fascinating :) And your amazing photographs are showing why I think this. They are beautiful and very skilled creatures. It is quite scary that something so beautiful can be so deadly… The ultimate deception!
Another great capture :) Very well done.
I think this shall be finding it’s way to my favourites :)

  • lol, thanks again Andrew :) oh unless you are a fly I think these ones are pretty harmless lol :) Thanks again mate, much appreciated :)
