Tonight I was out photographing the beautiful stormy sunset when I felt a warm breath on the back of my neck, it was Smokey , my regular mount since Riff was injured some months ago.
Shortly after I gave him quick pat on the nose he circled around me and stood in just the right spot in front of me… and posed! by a fluke I had the camera on just the right settings to be able to capture both him and the bright clouds behind before he came back for another pat, the light was amazing a set him in an etherial blue tone that just suited him so much.
What is even more amazing is that the young colt bob didn’t interfere either!!
I’m quite sure Smokey stood there on purpose :)
