G’day and thanks for stopping by!
Righteo, Bio – scary stuff!! I’m not real great at talking about myself but I’ll give it a shot ;)
Photography and art has been a fascination of mine ever since childhood – I was the curious creative kid! my drawing skills suck so I turned to cameras to express myself, I was fortunate to have my beautiful Mum with her old pentax to take the time to guide me through my teen years of happy snaps!
I like to take photos of my passions in life which are horses and the rural/outback way of life.
A lot of my photos are spontaneous, so usually taken on the run while doing something else, and at events, often with the reins of a horse in one hand and my camera in the other, sometimes even while riding, many of my favourite shots were taken out the back of the ute while flying up a dirt track, or out the window of the truck with a load of grain in the back.
Having lived in various parts of rural South Australia and Queensland, traveled considerable distances to attend work, family events and compete with my horses, my photographs originate from a wide variety of locations!
I’m far from professional (but who wouldn’t want to be one!!) and I don’t have a fancy flash camera -just a little budget level Pentax DSLR and it’s stock standard lenses, I went for a DSLR because the plain digitals I tried were just too slow, my other cameras are a $90 kodak compact and my nokia mobile phone ;)
If you’ve actually read this far – congratulations and thank you for taking the time!!! I really appreciate it!
I’m always on the go, so why not Keep in touch with news and happening on Facebook
