The iconic Trevi fountain popularized by the film Roman Holiday is the largest of all baroque fountains in Rome. Rumor has it that before its potrayal on Roman Holiday, it was relatively insignificant on the tourist circuit – but one would never guess that based on the throngs you find here even during the off season.
After having initially visited the fountain during the day, had to stop by again during night just to take this photograph.
