I have loved taking photographs since receiving my first Kodak instamatic camera when I was eight years old. My father taught me the simple procedures of contact printing in the darkroom.
In college I took a course in the History of Photography with the inspiring Eugenia Parry, which taught me a lot about seeing.
I also took a course in photography at the Maryland Institute of Art (MICA), which was really helpful with darkroom technique. I have tried to translate that knowledge into manipulating images with Photoshop.
I love to travel, and feel lost if my camera is not with me!
