We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

A would be self-portrait! Just back from 3 weeks in the Italian mountains, chasing rocky vistas, sunshine and of course, my beloved Alpine Marmots (marmota marmota). This guy who lives in the beautiful Val Nambrone near Madonna di Campiglio was quite unbothered by me, the “wanna-be marmot” stalking him with my camera.

Canon EOS 50D / Canon EF 400mmL f/5.6 lens (handheld of course – take a tripod outdoors?! You’ve gotta be kidding!)

What an inquisitive creature; looks like he’s delighted to have you for company! Thanks for sharing this beautiful portrait of your furry friend!

  • Thanks Bonnie! Marmots are my favourite mammal hence my company name “Marmotta PhotoArt”. The Italian marmots are very camera shy though so I ’m delighted at any opportunity to get a photo of them! ;o)

Great portrait Krys. I’m still impressed with your steady arms… 400mm without IS or tripod isn’t easy.
