On the cover image, what makes this shot for me, are the furry looking “things” to the left and right. Looks like he’s walking through snow covered evergreens to me …. What is that, can’t be other Meercats? Looks too big. LOVE it though !!!

They ARE other meerkats – the one in the middle is probably a youngster and/or is crouching.
