Fantastic display of feathered friends… I really love that Tawny. You are so lucky to have photographed a Snowy Owl. I have never seen one of those…..... someday. Sigh. =)

    Fantastic calendar Krys

  • Krys Bailey replied

Thanks Kimmie – er…. Snowy owls seem to be quite common (in the wildlife centres) around here – perhaps I could mail you one – or maybe he could fly over by himself – I’ll give him Nick’s SatNav – er maybe not – he’d end up in Antarctica with that &D£*”*!!!

What is the guy on August, and on April?

  • Krys Bailey replied

April is an African Speckled Vulture (I think) and August is a Striated Caracara (only found in the Falklands and south of South America). Don’t I sound knowledgeable… hahahaha! ;o)

“Jeepers Creepers, where’d you get those peepers? Jeepers Creepers, where’d you get those eyes?” No wonder they’re called birds of prey; they have eyes that bore holes through the darkness and into the tiniest crevices! What an amazing assortment or riveting stares! Love this as I love all your work, Krys.

  • Krys Bailey replied

Thanks Bonnie! Not as cute as your birdies, but I suppose they have their own charm!!! ;o)
