Shy Ocelot
Rare Ocelot (panthera pardalis) making an even rarer appearance outdoors the other day. Cat-lovers will recognise his sozzled expression as the result of sniffing out the aromatic leaves (he was quite keen in the one in the foreground).
Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200mm L IS f/4

whoa! I always wanted to get a photo of an ocelot – they’re so elegant, and yet cute :) you’ve caught him in such a great pose! :)
seawhisper
ooh btw if I can be so bold – I believe that adding just a touch of saturation would bring more live to this wonderful photo :D
Krys Bailey replied
Hahaha! Thank you for your kind comments and for being so bold! More saturation isn’t a bad idea though I tend to be careful to try not to add too much colour saturation as one of the photo libraries I submit to occasionally gets picky about it! ;o)
