Rivet! Rivet!
Caught in the act of courting and croaking, this guy was amongst many froggies making a heck of a racket! Common or Edible Frog (pelophylax esculentus).

Ha,
What a great capture, looks like he’s trying to eat a balloon!.
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Linda! I’d never seen frogs do this before – they were all at it – boys and girls!! Timing was difficult though to get the balloons at their most inflated point! Made good use of the multi-frame setting! ;o)
SKCPhotography
Excellent capture. Must have taken ages to get “the” shot. Well done.
Krys Bailey replied
Thank you! The multi-frame function helped! ;o)

Now that can only be attractive to another frog. But he looks focused (as is your image)!! I wonder if his courting was successful. Great shot!!
Krys Bailey replied
Thank you! Who knows if it was successful – it was all over in a flash, rofl! ;o)))
chijude
I hope he was … he looks so ernest! ... and almost fit to burst with effort!! If he was meant to bring roses I believe he would have supplied a dozen red long stemmed!
Krys Bailey replied
Hahaha!!! Who needs roses? Whats wrong with a bit of pond weed, rofl??? ;o)))
Christopher E...
talk about the timing!! capturing this guy with it’s mouth blown out is perfect timing
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Chris! There were lots of frogs doing this puffing thing all over the place so I had plenty of willing models! ;o)
Richard G Witham
Magnificent photo Krys, and perfect timing. I bet this little fellow is a prince charming among his kind.

I just noticed the other frog in the photo serving as a lilly pad. This would be a good image for the theme of team-work :)

What a cool shot, great title. What was the frog to the left of the main subject doing? I can see a leg and an eyeball.
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Andy! Well the way these frogs were leaping around the pond, I think he just happened to land on the poor thing underneath! :o)
Roslyn Lunetta

I don’t know how I missed this one, Krys, but it’s absolutely delightful! My grandson Sebastian loves bubblegum and he always wants to see me blow bubbles. If I ever produced a double header like this, he’d be flabbergasted! Wonderful shot, Krys!
