This is an awesome catch Krys! These are such wild looking creatures. Quite weird looking, but so beautifully colored. There is one at the Virginia Safari Park…but it’s in a cage. :(
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Ginny! This guy is in a huge wired enclosure but I managed to focus thru the wires! It was a bit hit and miss and some enclosures were just too difficult. ;o)

Bonnie T. Barry
I love the point of view in this photo, Krys! All the details are still visible but from a very interesting perspective. The colors are so rich and vivid but not unnaturally saturated, and every detail is clearly and crispy visible from the intense stare in that white eye to the black fuzzies that outline the head and the chin. Oh, the wonders of God’s creations; you portray them so well!
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Bonnie – however and whyever this guy evolved to look like this is one of God’s mysteries… ;o)
Martina Fagan
WOW , nuff said:)
