Mini Mallard
Mallard Duckling snapped yesterday at Arundel WWT in West Sussex, England. There are hundreds of ducklings milling around there at the moment at all stages of development – I was terribly tempted to bring some home after I fed a group of five and they began to follow me everywhere! Maybe I look like a mother duck!!! ;o)

Awwww!! I am such a sucker for baby ducks. I used to get some every Spring and keep them under a heat lamp in our kitchen until they were old enough to be outdoors. Then we got a dog. So sweet they are! I miss them… love this picture tho!

Thanks Rod! Honestly, these guys were guys were giving me real grief to get decent shots of. Tiny and very fast – a nightmare, and if you want a pic of mum and ducks, then you have a dof problem! Grrrr…..
