Thanks Al! I wouldn’t be surprised I was being reprimanded for the feeder running out of nuts or some such. Some of our garden birds (doves and blackbirds mainly) drop hints by waiting on the front doorstep when I’ve been out or perching in front of the window when they know I’m in the room! They ain’t birdbrained, that’s for sure! ;o)

Always handheld unless I do indoor macro shots and then I suffer a tripod. Maybe I’m a zombie, rofl! ;o) Don’t you find by the time you’ve moved your tripod setting the critter shot may get missed? Maybe you’re as fast with a tripod as I am slow-enough to hand hold (down to 1/250 with that 400mm lens with no shake).
