Alien Landscape
... well a lot of people would say this place is more like Mars (how they know, I’m not sure). Nevertheless, on a cold frozen day here in Merrie Olde England I enjoy looking at one of my favourite places which is warm and dry and in Chile. This is the Valley of the Dinosaurs in the Atacama Desert. The driest place on earth – that suits me perfectly – someone pass me a cider…...... ;o)

Krys, I love the way you framed this shot with the walls of rock and the way the frame leads the eye into the wild blue yonder! This reminds me of those Disney experiences where the photo envelopes you and gives you the sense of being there. This really transport me to Chile! Exceptional work as always! The mark of professional is written all over this!

Don’t marmots hibernate? Of course they do! ;-) In fact I arrived at Rocky Mountain National Park too late the last time I went… the marmots had already holed up. You are the only remaining active Marmot in the cold weather. It is no surprise you long for the warmth.
