Baby Red Squirrel. mercilessly stalked by JackyP and myself at the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey, Saturday 20 September. Our better halfs had to nearly drag us away from these entertaining and soooooo pretty critters! We even thought that RB should now be renamed Red Squirrel Bubble!!! :o)
First published pic out of my new Canon EOS 50D, which I collected that morning! I’ve even read some of the manual! How sad is that?! ;o)

Love it! I’m being rather greedy though and have a Canon 5D MkII on order too. I usually take 2 cameras shooting with me so I don’t have to change lenses quite so frequently – essential really for animal shots. ;o)

Oh yes, I have to agree with you there Krys. Great idea! lol I’ve been using an Olympus Evolt 500 and have ordered an upgrade to get that much closer to the wild critters. They’re a superb series of camera as well. Thanks so much for sharing! I’m off to bed now, it’s after 4:30am and I’ve just finished uploading my latest renderings for the day lol
