Thanks Hilary, for this and all your other kind comments! Would you believe this was shot through the scratched perspex of the cable car? Nah, neither would I… :o)

Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Bianca! I was a bit miffed that the clouds came over so quickly, blotting out a lot of the scenery, buy you know mountains! ;o)

I like this, very moody. I always wanted to visit the Dolomites.
Krys Bailey replied
Thanks Jay! You MUST visit the Dolomites if you can! I think they are the most beautiful and unique peaks on the planet!
Kimberly Palmer
this is gorgeous and so magical Krys…. love this.
I just checked out your website (ed mentioned it).... and I sent you an email. =)
Jay Ryser
They apparently filmed that gawd-awful Sylvester Stallone movie (I know, doesn’t narrow the range much) that was SUPPOSED to take place in the Rockies there in the Dolomites. I’ve been in the Alps near the Swiss & Italian border. Someday . . .
Krys Bailey replied
Yeah Jay – I saw that film and didn’t know where it was filmed until I recognised the Tofana peaks, near Cortina! I couldn’t believe that anyone would try to pass the Dolomites off as the Rockies!
Jay Ryser
Wait . . . Swiss & Italian . . . I may need to look it up . . .
Krys Bailey replied
Could have been Swiss or Italian – they’re all Alps. Italy does have Alps but I prefer the Dolomites!
