Lake Carezza
Hi Bubblers – sorry I haven’t been around to admire your beautiful offerings lately but I’m just back from our annual caravan trip to the Italian Dolomites. I’ve waited many years to capture this gem of a lake in decent conditions and am fairly happy that I’ve done so. Lake Carezza and the Latemar mountains, near Nova Levante, Trentino, Italy.

Thanks Kimmie. Yes, I used the 17-40 with a polariser. The polariser caused terrible black vignetting though so I had to correct that by crop and cloning. Ho hum….

Hey Krys…Are you using film for these, or is it all digital? If digital, what camera and lenses are you using?

Film? OMG, shock horror, no! ;o) I’ve been totally digital for the past 5 years, Ed. For this shot I used my Canon 5D with a Canon 17-40mm L lens. I also still use my old Canon 20D and have several other Canon L or similar quality Canon lenses. They are fantastic glass!
