Colca Canyon
The Colca Canyon, Peru is the deepest canyon in the world, about twice as deep as the Grand Canyon. The Inca terraces seen here are still farmed by local people.

Thank you Joyce. Yes, weren’t the Incas clever too to think up terracing. It is heartening to know that some of their skills were passed down to the modern day Peruvians!
