First good sunset in a while, just after I took this a train came around the corner and I had just enough time to get off the tracks :D

Pretty happy with this shot, although I’m planning on coming back here to re-shoot it as its only a 10 minute drive away. There’s also a dam in the paddock on the right that I’d like to take a look at.

Camera: Pentax k100d
Lens: Sigma 18-125mm f/3.5-5.6

That’s just wicked, and I love the reflected light on the tracks. I’m gonna have to learn to get up earlier and stay up later to get those kinda shots. Grrrr.

  • Glad you like it Gary, its well worth getting out to take shots like this.

yeah i’m terrible at getting up for sunrises. Which is bad because i live near the beach and there is great spots for sunrises. I just need to go to bed earlier. Anyway you’ve done a great job with this. Havent seen much of you for a while. We thought you’d vanished. lol

  • Thanks Lindsay,
lol you definitely should, I love watching the sunrise and its always so rewarding when you take a great shot.

I’m still here, just had been forgetting to upload my shots here. Are you on deviantART?
