When The Pain Hurts by Kevin Kroeker
Clear

Currently unavailable for purchase

I went for a drive this afternoon and as I rounded the bend in the road I saw this heart breaking scene before me. Since becoming a father two years ago, things like this really pull at my emotions. I couldn’t imagine the suffering & heart-broken hands that layed that Winnie The Pooh as a marker to this tragic event.

Isn’t that tragic Kevin. I know the feeling too, since a student of mine was killed (an only child yet) along the highway that I travel everytime I leave the house. I can’t help but pass it. Her photo, flowers at different seasons piled huge near a cross on the shoulder. It’s just terrible and yes as you can see the people who laid Winnie the Pooh are heartbroken too. that makes us all heartbroken.

A wonderful capture, and at the same time, a tragic reminder that our roads can be dangerous

Awesomely captured here, Kevin! I really like how you’ve darkened the surroundings to highlight the bear with the effective dof. A heart-string tugger for sure!!
