I set the alarm for 3am and headed out to the coast to catch a sunrise.

This is the lighthouse at CapeSpear, Newfoundland. It is the most easterly point in North America. So while everyone else was sleeping I was the very first person in North America to see this sunrise… how cool is that!

The rock that makes the cliffs that the lighthouse sits on reminded me of a martian landscape…
