Jack Frost's Throne
It was a dreary and grey day today. The fog was so thick so I decided to go for a drive to one of the lighthouses. This is an old outhouse hanging over the edge of the cliff next to the lighthouse. This is what the lighthouse keeper would use to scratch that itch… lol. It’s probably about 100 feet to the ocean straight below.
What you can’t see in the image is that behind the outhouse there is nothing but open ocean for the next 3000 miles.

Very beautiful tones and colors Kevin !

Fantastic composition Kevin. The muted colors work well and the lines of the image are very pleasing. In college I lived in a house with outdoor plumbing-
girls would only come over one time to visit-I wonder why?Heather Rivet...

Very stunning, sets a very lonesome lightkeeper mood, too. It’s beautiful how you captured all of the colors and depth of white. And might I say, it’s edgy work, too….

You have no idea how much I have always wanted to be a lighthouse keeper…. this is just a fantastic and surrealistic image. To hell with that cliff for the ‘itch’ though… I believe I’d be searching for new accommodations in that regard!

OMG!!!! Kevin … this is FABULOUS!!!!!!! What a FIND!!! WOWOWOWOW!!!!! My grandparents’ farm had no electric or plumbing, so we had to use the outhouse there, too … but, bless your heart, it wasn’t hanging over the side of a cliff!!!!!! This is a spectacular image … just had to fave it!!!! If you haven’t already, you should enter it into Images and Ideas .... I think it would be a great fit!!!!! And Congratulations on your very well deserved Feature!!!!!
