That is quite a collection from that old dwelling but this takes the cake in my ‘umble opinion.
I like your well controlled exposure in difficult high dynamic range conditions and how you still managed to show us all the gorey detail.
I am also taken by how the slats of the venetian blind are echoed by the slats of the sloping ceiling and the sheer deterioration of the whole room.
A great find and well photographed that man!

... an all time favorite. this one has fascinated me since i first arrived on the bubble last August … but I was probably too timid to leave a message. This is an absolutely extraordinary image … somehow it gets into our souls … that eerie foreboding of our own mortality … that from which we turn away and distract ourselves with birdies and flowers and baby animals … you’ve got it smack dab in our faces here, baby. No getting around it!!!!!
