Long live Rocco in your heart and folks like you that did everything possible. You gave Rocco peace, his gift to share that with you.

  • Thanks Elisabeth, it was really one of the hardest things I have done in my life.

It’s a beautiful card and verse.
Good reminder. Thank you for sharing.
So sorry about your fur baby Roscoe. :(

  • Thanks, I still cry for him every day. His name is Rocco btw, not Roscoe.

Sorry about the typo on his name.
You gave him the best years of his life….the only good years of a life that had been torment until he came to you. Sometimes the abuse from a bad first home just can’t be fixed.
He reminds me of my old border collie Bo. Hugs.
PS: Do you know Carla B.?

  • That’s okay :)

My mind tells me it’s for the best, my heart doesn’t agree at all.
But I’m happy I was able to give him 4 years of my life, a friend of mine said: you were his heaven on earth.

No, I don’t know her. Is she some kind of dog whisperer?

A beautiful tribute to your special lad, I was too preoccupied with my own grief to realise at the time you had lost your wonderful lad.

  • Thanks Mike, that’s okay. You can’t keep up with the whole world.
