The Benday Bear Experiment

...
A bit of an experiment. The addition of dots allows all shirt colour to show through making this image suitable for any colour (except the really dark ones).
I’ve seen people achieve the same effect on their designs with transparent colours but I don’t think RedBubble can print transparent colours properly and they go a bit blotchy. So this is an attempt at a workaround.

Awesome illustration! Nice work

It`s definately a cool graphic
I`m all for experimenting too, but i think the dots may be a little large, taking some of the strength from the linework.. but the printed version will tell the tale I`m sure.
Let us all know how it works out?

Thanks guys.
The dot size crossed my mind as well, Scott. It was mainly out of not knowing the level of detail RB could handle. The dot size also allows for a bit of colour bleed of the black.
Anyway, I’ll probably buy one of these and see how it goes, before making any changes.
