I am 29 years old. I grew up near Sacramento and moved to San Diego to attend the University of California. When I graduated, I went on to law school. I enjoyed the experience and wouldn’t give up the education, but practicing law is just not for me. I was involved in a car crash near the end of 2006. Because of that crash, they did a cat scan that discovered an aneurysm and saved my life. Four brain surgeries (and several setbacks) later, I am alive and well and very thankful. I have wanted to share my work for a long time and I decided that there is no time better than today! I am passionate about any photography that allows me to see/share the beauty and inspiration that makes up our planet. I especially love animals and have always felt a connection to them. I currently live in San Diego with my husband and best friend, Keef and my pets. I love animals, music, reading, travel, diving and taking pictures. I am also a certified Divemaster (PADI) and I LOVE the ocean.

Animals are so important to our planet and many of them are in terrible danger of becoming extinct. I have always believed that if you can learn more about an animal and see it in person or in a photo, you will develop a strong attachment to it and want to help protect and save it. I hope that by viewing some of my images, it will make even a small percentage of people want to help save these precious creatures! Animals cannot defend or fight for themselves! We must help them!! In that spirit, I have decided that a portion of any profits I make from Redbubble will be donated to Defenders of Wildlife!
