The second half of a set of portraits of The Mighty Boosh— Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, for the uninitiated.

The idea for this set of illustrations was to create two high-contrast pencil portraits in the same style, then digitally add colors/elements that hint at each comedian’s individual comic and personal style. The pieces also reference Noel Fielding’s own paintings, wherein he scribbles bathroom-graffiti-style over found pictures.

Lineart done in graphite.
Colored in Photoshop.

  • I love that you’re excited! :D I almost drew him in a giant parka, but then was like, no wait. Jazz Detective meets Preacher Man! ;D
