Acrylic on paper, 28in/22in

This was my first “poster” an homage to the 1972 Munich Olympics poster by Vasarely. That was the first (and only) piece of art I ever purchased and gave to my parents for X’Mas, 1998. I gave this one to them for their 40th wedding anniversary. The design turned out very well, and I even managed to pull off the logo and very tricky nautilis shape — but the lettering is a little wonkier than I’d like (although it is NOT as wonky as the bad pic here, damned difficult to get a good pic of these!). I’m considering cutting it off and re-lettering one day, but it costs too much money to reproduce a poster.
