My stomach it quivers and I sqeel with delight
I rush over to mother to show her the sight
How can it be such a tiny young thing
Can bring so much love and suffering
I glow in my cheeks and my eyes show it too
I could tell the whole world but it just wouldn’t do
This gift that grows inside from above
This creature I’ve not seen but still whom I love
The one who brings so much hurt and pain
Oh I think it is time Oh never again
But all the sweat and the crying is worth
This small little child to whom I gave birth
I look at her and cherish the sight
never to forget this most joyful night
I’d do it all over for this child is worth
This small little angle to whom I gave birth
