Visiting my hometown I accidentally happened upon this. Normally, I’m well aware of protests, but I am a tourist at home now so I had no idea until I heard the ruccus.
It was in protest of the death of a cyclist on Montreal street who was hit by a motorist.
It was incredible. Rue Ste. Catherine was shut down in the late afternoon on a Saturday. Closed the city for ten minutes.
It was beautiful.
I would say that it made a lot of Montreal motorists angry, but that would mean the protesters really had no effect.

wow! this is really cool. it’s like a spencer tunick photo except that everyone is clothed. before i read your commentary, my imagination went into overdrive imagining what had happened to these people. most excellent :)
i like to provoke turbo imagination. that’s cool. I may use that as a slogan. and the tunick reference humbles me. thank you.
