Koukei’s Office angels was unlike any other temping agency. The temporary staff that they provided invariably struggled with shorthand and sometimes longhand, typing skills were not their strong points and the line ‘Ms Jones, take a letter’ would frequently be replied with ‘Where should I take it too?’. It was a proven fact that many would have struggled to outshine a 40 watt light bulb and some could be startled by the sound of a ringing telephone. Despite this shortfall in office skills the service cleared a significant profit for the agency.
Some thought it was because the girls were all very, very pretty but this was only the half of it. Blackmail played it’s part too with directors and managers frequently being pictured in compromising positions with the very, very pretty temp staff in one of the not so discreet rooms at the Koukei love hotel. Apparently sex sells, but keeping the pictures of sex from selling pays even more!
