Woken by a scream

We met at the club down on the beach at Fuseta and I invited her back to my place. It had been so hot that August that I’d taken to sleeping out on the roof terrace under the stars. Inside the flat it was baking and airless.

She liked the idea immediately, so we took a couple of drinks up the steps and spent the next couple of hours getting to know each other better.

Something must have wakened me in the night and I noticed that she wasn’t there beside me.

We’d been pretty busy before we dropped off to sleep, so we didn’t get much of a chance to talk.

Otherwise I would have been able to warn her that there was only a low parapet at the edge of the terrace and she would maybe have told me that she walked in her sleep.

Partly truth & partly fiction?? What a wild imagination you have. Poor Fran. :)

  • It did get so hot in Portugal that Fran and I slept out on the roof terrace. We weren’t the only ones. Apart from that just a wild story. thanks for reading Marsha.

Haha, very funny. This one’s good, too, though I did really like the first one. You should enter them both, and don’t forget to add a link in the forum.

  • Thanks Natella. if I can enter more than one perhaps I shall. Thanks again!

Haha. Looking forward to reading the other. Please do enter both, if the challenge inspires more than one story, that’s a good thing.

  • Thanks Cathryn. I’ve got another couple too, but I don’t think I’d better enter four!!

Why not? I’m pretty sure there is no limit as long as they meet the challenge guidelines :)
