Redbubble posters are a lot like space travel.
In that they're completely brilliant, however unlike space travel they're quite sensibly priced.
They are a handy way to make very dull walls, ceilings and spaceships look infinitely better.
Tack them to your bedroom door, or frame one above the mantlepiece.
They're adaptable, efficient and bold and really it's amazing you've managed to go so long without picking one up.
They are printed on 185gsm semi gloss poster paper and custom cut to three
maximum sizes – A2, A1 & A0. This includes a 5mm white border
to assist in framing.
Watercolour on 325 gsm fine grain paper 30×20 cmW&N paints – Yellow Ochre, Sepia, Winsor Blue (Red Shade)Schminke – Lemon Yellow, Ruby Red
Not unhappy with the result though did more work than I intended correcting stupid mistakes.
watercolour, watercolor, café, terrace, people, crowd, city

J’adore tes scènes de rue !
Merci Corinne. C’est ça que je cherche tenter en ce moment. Les scènes avec les personnages.
I really love your new works, Ian…this is fabulous. So much going on in this scene that it makes we really want to study it so I don’t miss anything!
Thanks Marsha. I think I’ve overcome my fear of busy scenes but still find landscapes daunting which is what my only pupil hopes to learn. My efforts at these have yet to make it to the ‘bubble’!
And the result is wonderful! J’aime beaucoup les couleurs.
Merci Colombe. Je suis content que vous les trouvez OK. J’ai peur des rouges et verts!
What mistakes….. I am truly liking the “NEW” management of white space in your more recent works Ian. This is very fine work. Look’n good my friend.
Thanks for that Jim. I’m pleased then that I was able to correct things. The row of seated people to the right of the waiter had extensive lifting off then redoing….glad it turned out OK!
I love your watercolours. I’m not sure why, but they take me back to my childhood and escapism into those painted illustrations in the ladybird books.
Cheers Coleman. Is ladybird books good or bad…can’t remember, just know we had loads.
Nice, great light!
Very nice work!
so much in this wonderful painting Ian…mistakes…YOU…i can’t believe that….well disguised…a great composition one which i really appreciate all the work involved.
Thanks Lisa. There was a bit of work in this one cos I wasn’t happy with my first attempt and threw it on the fire . Had to draw it out again!!
