After a short absence during which I’ve been framing for an upcoming exhibition and re-evaluating my work this is my first attempt to paint a bit more freely, letting the paint bleed in places and generally make as few passes as possible in order not to overwork.
The drawing was made days ago but I’ve been prevaricating for England.
It’s been successful in areas I think, and I’m happier than I was just staring at the drawing for days.
Still a way to go so we’ll call this my first transitional attempt!
