I dug this out to show somebody on RB one of my early attempts at watercolour.
The church is at Boliquieme in Portugal if you are interested.
The article appeared in Good Life magazine which is an English language publication on sale in the Algarve, Portugal. It was written by Carolyn Kain whose husband Peter took the photographs.
We were catapulted to stardom after this piece appeared, and have had to seek refuge in a quiet hamlet in rural France. Fran changed her surname and I lost my hair.
We now live in Blissful Obscurity, which is a small commune in the Périgord Vert region of France.
HELP!!!!
I paint watercolours and write short stories.

You haven’t changed at all Ian. Look at those golden locks. You remind me a bit of Leif Garretts older brother Jarret. Always knew I was dealing with a famous Expat English French artist :-))
Jarret Garrett has always been one of my biggest heroes. i’m the one on the right by the way.

This is just too cool. Thanks for sharing the article & funny description with us. I certainly recognize Fran, but who’s that great looking guy standing next to her? :)
Hi Marsha. We got a stand-in for the photo as I was too shy.
